Fall Protection for the Competent Person

Description

Falls are the leading cause of occupational fatalities and disabling injuries. This Competent Person course is designed to assist employers in the OSHA regulatory training requirements for fall protection in construction. Participants will gain knowledge on hazard identification and how to implement conventional fall protection methods, including personal fall arrest and restraint systems. The Competent Person will understand roles and responsibilities, how to calculate fall clearance, how to select, use, and install fall protection systems, and training requirements.
