Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER)

Description:

This course is designed for employees needing initial Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response certification. This 40-hour HAZWOPER training is a requirement for general site workers who are engaged in hazardous materials removal or other activities which could expose or potentially expose them to hazardous substances necessitating an emergency response. Topics covered in this course will include types of hazards associated with waste operations, PPE and the different levels of protection, toxicology and chemical properties, fire prevention, hazard communication, site emergencies, control methods, and more.  Participants will walk away feeling prepared to perform safely and effectively in a range of hazardous waste and material situations
