Qualified Rigger and Signalperson

Description

Employees who perform hoisting activities for assembly and disassembly work or who are within the fall zone to secure, unhook, manage a load, or perform initial connections of a load must be qualified per OSHA.  This course is designed to meet the OSHA requirements for a qualified rigger and signalman.  Training topics will include general requirements and responsibilities, hazards associated with crane and rigging activities, basic crane functions, hand and voice communication, crane and rigging limitations, rigging accessories and uses, inspection requirements and more.  Participants will gain the knowledge needed to perform rigging and signaling activities safely.
