Excavation and trenching are some of the most hazardous tasks in construction. Open excavations in the Earth's surface can cave in unexpectedly, causing injury or death if the proper protective systems are not in place. This course will provide participants with the knowledge to identify hazards, define cave-in protection methods, and OSHA regulations.
